The fact that she kept me as one of her dancers still amazes me to this day for her Thesis. Although I was being my disorganised self in first year she still kept faith with me and pushed me to where I was. įrom when I first came to Roehampton, she was the first person to pick me for any piece of choreography. One woman who entered my life was my choreographer and masters student Harriet. When dancing with people you create such a connection with people and when they move onto bigger and better things it can be a sad time but you need to look at the positives of the situation. Not because they want to leave, but because life pushes them to greater and bigger opportunities. The natural way of life is that you meet people who impact your life and then they leave. I’m hoping the post cards actually get there !!

A sense of accomplishment that i actually did something with my day unlike my normal student sloth days. Two post cards later and one thankful message i ended up posting two cards to my inspirational person. I mean who uses postcards?!?!īut once the opportunity came to buy a post card when i was in Putney i thought to myself, ‘Dan, don’t be a dick.

At first i found this completely weird and shrugged off the task. One task we need to do was send a postcard to someone who is inspirational to us. The looming fact that PF&F (Practice form and function, a third year practical module) is going to take up my whole life (With being in 5 technique classes a week and a numerous amount of choreography i need to be in during the year) is absolutely terrifying to me, but i need to embrace it with open arms. It means that i get to refine technique and explore different ways i can move …… somehow. Realizing that i have a lot of practical ahead of me is such an amazing feeling.
